I've just found a website (thanks to a member of a Level 42 Forum, as there is a Level 42 live at Montreux DVD for sale there) that is offering the Rockpalast show on DVD as well as two other WA concerts from the 90s. They're probably bootlegs but are the only way at present to obtain these shows.

I'm not sure whether to risk giving any of these a try. I might wait to see if anybody else has bought any DVDs from this website before trying. Funds are a bit tight at present!

The website is:

Hmm...

Three Wishbone Ash DVDs, all TV broadcasts.
None of them have been officially available.
Six different concerts on audio CDs. Some of
them audience recordings, some soundboard
recordings. They cost $15.99 each (DVDs and
CDs).

Good(?) business idea, but I'll pass. Doubt any
of the income goes to the artists.
Best Wishes - Best Bones!

That is something I try to think about when I purchase something. Try to support the band if I can.

Lots of Rockpalast shows are now out on DVD, or more recently, CD/ DVD sets. Can Andy, or indeed any other Ash alumni try and work with them to get this released?

ha, it's amazing that this thread goes back TEN YEARS!

good to see that Chris/heracles contacted the rockpalast people and they were up for it in theory, and even better news that despite ongoing poor relations with former members this thing has now seen the light of day as an official release.

I do not have an official copy yet, but it would be great if anyone could review it in comparison to the existing bootlegs and give a view on whether the quality of picture/audio is in any way improved.

There is a review on amazon from our number one fan Derek which is less than complimentary, but some others seem to like it so.....???
