Many Guitars at the Brook

Postby spider on Tue Aug 15, 2017 6:32 pm

Ok, so I decided to try out Groove Music, thats the music streaming option available with Windows 10. First thing I did of course was type in Wishbone Ash, and here is what came up----

Can anyone provide any info on this, and why Microsoft would be using this?

Here is the setlist. Just looking further, they seem to have a few bizzare albums I aint ever heard of, like Breaking Out, Still On, etc.

Hi

I just logged in to this forum ... first time in a while to get some info whilst mastering my recording of W.Ash from last week at the Brook (25th Oct 2017) .. & saw this board item with the same title that I gave my audience recording from last year also at the Brook (on 10th Nov 2016).

So, yes .. this "Many Guitars at the Brook" is actually my audience recording from last year that was shared on Living Proof ... the title comes from the many guitars hung up on the walls around the stage at the Brook on the night they played there.

Groove Music even used my own simple folder art that I created for my recording in their release of this recording!!

The sound is very good IMO ... but you should not pay anything for it .. I'd be happy to upload it for free if you would like to hear it.

Cheers - Steve / Cuztard Pi

So it's really a bootleg ? I remember the performance on here when some of us bought the unofficial Austrian version of Live Dates Volume 2 .I now have a Universal Geffen U.S version ,also a Russian Federation version of Number The Brave.

well yes it is a private recording and as such not something that should really be discussed on the band's official forum.

it is a bit of a mystery how it got on groove music as I don't suppose anyone deliberately shared it on there. as steve says, if anyone wants to hear it then get in touch with him, or me for that matter. it is an excellent quality recording.

there is a separate group called Living_Proof where this sort of thing goes on and this can be found on the internet easily enough.
